The most spectacular coastal road in the world, the Chapmans Peak Drive, stretches from Hout Bay to Noordhoek. The breathtaking views of the bay are something you have to experience. In the past, wild leopards used to live in the "Houtbaaitjen, the wood bay". Nowadays only the bronze leopard statue on a rock remains. With some luck you can watch whales and dolphins during the mild winter months.
